Capacity Building

The capacity building goals and objectives are regionally determined. They focus on skill development of functionaries at different levels to carry activities related to primary health care, reproductive child healthcare, programme management, voluntary organisation management and advocacy related work. These training focus on the vulnerable sections of the society - dalits, tribals, displaced, migrants, bonded labour, child labour, women and children.

Some of the training organised include:

  • Modular course in health management for supervisory level functionaries of member organisations
  • Skill and expertise development in CNA and PRA methodologies for RCH programme
  • Capacity building and skill development in primary health/curative care and first aid
  • Training of trainers for traditional birth attendants
  • Laboratory techniques for control of malaria
  • Workshop on development of village IDCs
  • Bio-medical waste disposal
