Context

In recent years deforestation has risen disturbingly high which is a grave threat to our wildlife, various bird species and insects, unsuitable air for breathing, chronic droughts, and severe climate fluctuations. As we move forward into a more sustainable future, one of the simplest yet most effective ways to make a positive impact is by planting trees. Trees purify the air we breathe, protect biodiversity, and help to combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide.

Uttar Pradesh Voluntary Health Association (UPVHA) strives to initiate a “Mission 10,000 Trees” campaign to plant 10,000 trees in areas like wetlands, river banks, and barren lands of Uttar Pradesh, India in the coming 3 years. Our goal is to raise Rs. 10,00,000 (i.e., 100/- per Tree which includes Plantation + Maintenance = Plantenance) which will make this campaign a reality. We plan to plant specific trees like Teak, Neem, Fig, Mahua, Jamun, Mango, and many others to protect biodiversity and create a healthier environment.

What We Will Do:

  • Plant 10,000 trees in areas like wetlands, river banks, and barren lands of Uttar Pradesh, India in the coming three years.
  • Plant specific trees like teak, neem, fig, mahua, jamun, mango, and many other to protect biodiversity and create a healthier environment.
  • Make sure that the saplings planted will survive through proper monitoring.
  • For our kind donors, we will assure proof updates via pictures to ensure the quality and survival of our planted trees through their contribution.

Therefore, we invite you to join and support our Tree Plantation Campaign and be a part of a movement toward a Greener Planet.
Don’t Just Think Green, Let’s Plant Green!
