Swachchh Bharat Mission

UPVHA implemented Swachchh Bharat Mission Project in three districts – Lucknow, Hardoi and Sitapur – with the support of the Directorate of Urban Development, Uttar Pradesh. The main objective of this project was to motivate people to complete their individual household toilets.

Received the list of approved applicants

Visit each household in the approved list

Identification of constructed, unconstructed and under construction toilets from the beneficiary list

Mobilise beneficiaries through IEC activities to ensure completion of toilets

Conduct IEC activities to ensure construction of the toilets

Act as interface between urban local bodies and beneficiaries

Namami Gange

UPVHA is implemented Namami Gange Project in two districts – Lucknow and Mathura. The main objective of the project is to get all households connected with the existing sewer network. The project was supported by the Directorate of Urban Development, Uttar Pradesh. UPVHA conducted IEC activities to motivate people to Construct Toilets and take sewer connection.
